Terms of Service

Last Updated: June 20, 2026. Review the rules, rights, and standards governing your use of the PrepFocus simulator.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or using the PrepFocus CBT exam simulator system, websites (prepfocus.org), or any software application or service provided by us (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”).

PrepFocus is an educational product and brand operated by Z-Code Technologies Limited. If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must immediately cease accessing or using the Platform.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the “Last Updated” timestamp at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after updates constitute binding acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must provide complete and accurate credentials when registering for a PrepFocus student or tutor account. You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password).
  • All activity occurring under your account profile.
  • Promptly notifying our technical desk if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or delete accounts that are found to contain fraudulent profile details or are shared across multiple individuals.

3. Access & Subscriptions

PrepFocus offers diagnostic practices and basic study planning tools. To unlock full access to the ICAN ATS 1-3 diet simulations, calculations marking schemes, and extensive past papers, you must purchase a valid subscription plan.

  • Pricing & Payments: All subscription costs, terms of access, and billings are defined inside the student portal and checked before checkout. Transactions are processed securely via local partner gateway networks.
  • Cancellation & Expiry: Subject to the billing cycle, subscription access expires automatically at the end of the diet block or duration period unless renewed.
  • Refunding Policy: Due to the immediate delivery of educational questions databases, payment transactions are non-refundable once content access is granted, unless mandated by consumer protection statutes.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All elements of the PrepFocus Platform, including but not limited to simulator layouts, text explanations, custom-authored exam templates, mathematical models, logo symbols, and software assets, are the exclusive property of Z-Code Technologies Limited.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our database strictly for preparation study purposes. You agree **not** to:

  • Scrape, duplicate, republish, or redistribute our question banks, explanations, or syllabus planners to other platforms or study groups.
  • Attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or crack the Hybrid Grading Engine scripts or system frameworks.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use PrepFocus in compliance with local rules and ethical educational behaviors. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scripts, or auto-checkers to query the Platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the stability of our servers or database nodes (such as DDoS actions).
  • Submit abusive, offensive, or fraudulent reviews or tickets to the support queues.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Educational Disclaimer: PrepFocus is an independent study assistant tool. PrepFocus is **not** endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). While our database is closely aligned with the ICAN syllabus, we make no guarantees regarding your passing grades or career outcomes.

As-Is Service: The Platform is provided on an “As-Is” and “As-Available” basis. Z-Code Technologies Limited disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Liability Cap: In no event shall Z-Code Technologies Limited, its directors, or employees, be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Platform, capped at the amount paid by you to PrepFocus in the 3 months preceding the event.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service, along with your access to the Platform, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any legal actions, arbitration claims, or disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively within appropriate courts situated in Lagos State, Nigeria.
